Experience this beloved story from the perspectives of two protagonists, thrown together in an unlikely partnership as they try to recover a mountain of money that each believes is theirs.įiona is a full-time con-artist who has been scheming to make a fortune selling a fake Vault Key. There were, however, a few minor graphical glitches in this episode (sadly common for Telltale, as anyone who has played their games will know).Originally released as a series of five episodes between November 2014 and October 2015, Tales from the Borderlands is a choice-driven narrative adventure game that takes place between the events of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. Mixing cartoon-ish graphics with the violence the borderlands series is known for gives the game a certain charm that isn’t matched anywhere else. Graphics/Sound: A little scene from *the* funniest part of the entire series thus farĬell shaded graphics have always been some of my favorite. I will recap my adventures when I review the game series as a whole after the final episode releases. This episode is huge as it sets up everything for the finale, which can’t come soon enough.Īgain, as with my last review, I can’t write too much story-wise as each person will have their own choices to make and their own story to tell.

Not only is there humor, but there is also drama, and masterful storytelling.

My favorite character, too cute for her own good. This episode especially is packed with incredible humor it really shows the writing skills of the team. I can only list a handful of games that make me laugh out loud and this one does so often. One thing I absolutely love about this series so far is the humor.
